PLEASE HELP US REACH OUR GOAL OF RAISING $10 FROM 5000 PEOPLE BY SEPTEMBER 30!  PLEASE MAIL YOUR CONTRIBUTION OF $10 TODAY AND ASK OTHERS TO DO THE SAME! CHECK BACK WITH UPDATES ON OUR GOAL AS WE APPROACH OUR FIRST REPORTING PERIOD!  THANK YOU!

"It is with great excitement that I launch my fundraising campaign for US Congerss 2008!  Many may remember I first challenged Republican Chris Smith in 2004.  I have received many endorsements through my previous campaigns, including The Philadelphia Inquirer which labeled me "a tenacious challenger of the status quo."  It is with this same energy and even greater momentum that will allow me to unseat this George Bush conservative who has voted with Bush on the war and lobbied for Bush to veto funding for stem cell research.  Smith's main mission is to strip privacy rights from women and end family planning throughout the world.  He vehemently opposes gay rights including allowing same sex couples to adopt children.  Smith's negativity is a thing of the past."

It is time for the sun to shine in New Jersey's 4th District.  It is time for a true representative of the views and values of the people of New Jersey's 4th District.  It is time to elect Amy Vasquez, a progressive attorney from Burlington City.

Amy Vasquez is a child advocate attorney who represents abused and neglected children in Family Court.  She is a proven fighter for civil rights and a champion of environmental preservation.  Amy is a product of the public school system, attending public schools from kindergarten through law school.

Amy Vasquez ran for Congress in 2004 because she opposed the War in Iraq.  Stem cell research and security funding for New Jersey were at the forefront of her campaign. Amy Vasquez worked at the Innocence Project where 3 of her clients were later exonerated and freed through DNA testing.  Amy Vasquez was a school teacher before attending law school and volunteered at the Sea Otter Rehabilitation Center after the Exxon Valdez oil spill.

As a candidate in 2008, Amy Vasquez is calling for our troops to be withdrawn from Iraq, for universal healthcare, for policy that ensures a clean and healthy environment,  and for the preservation of individual civil rights.

Together we can make a difference.  Please contribute to the Campaign to Elect Amy Vasquez to US Congress.
